Susan Kennedy Biography

Susan worked for two decades in the highest echelons of state and federal government, most recently as vice president of staff to Governor Gray Davis, head of the team to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's office, and as an interchange executive for U.S. Congresswoman Dianne Feinstein. She served on the California Public Utilities Commission, which oversees the state's privately owned water businesses, media suppliers, and financial expert-owned power utilities, from 2003 to 2006. Susan was at the centre of many of California's ground-breaking ecological tactics, such as the Low-Carbon Fuel Standard vehicle outflow measures, the Renewable Portfolio Standard, and the carbon reduction order and top and-exchange programme under AB 32. During the energy crises of 2000–2001, she assisted the State's crisis request reaction efforts. As a member of the PUC, she drafted what was, at the time, the most extensive energy effectiveness programme in utility history. She graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a B.A. in Management.
