Susan worked for two decades in the highest echelons of state and federal government, most recently as vice president of staff to Governor Gray Davis, head of the team to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's office, and as an interchange executive for U.S. Congresswoman Dianne Feinstein.
She served on the California Public Utilities Commission, which oversees the state's privately owned water businesses, media suppliers, and financial expert-owned power utilities, from 2003 to 2006.
