Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton is well known for his roles in the 2010 Sundance Film Festival winner Animal Kingdom and the SKY (BSkyB)/Cinemax/HBO TV series Strike Back. As the Greek leader Themistocles, Stapleton played a major role in the 2014 movie 300: Rise of an Empire. Stapleton, an Australian native, joined an acting and performing group at the age of 8 along with his younger sister Jacinta Stapleton, who was 6 at the time. A chief saw him and immediately invited him to appear in his short film after being drawn to his image (about secondary school dropouts at a gathering where young ladies were biting the dust without realistic brutality). The chief praised him for his performance, declared him skilled, and advised him to pursue acting. At Melbourne's St. Martin's Theater, Stapleton started getting ready. Adrian made his acting debut in the Australian TV movie Baby Bath Massacre in 1994.
