Suhaib Webb Biography

The Snapchat Imam is a Muslim convert named Suhaib Webb. Webb frequently gives presentations and publishes publications that present Islamic perspectives on complex subjects, such as network inclusiveness and social significance. After converting to Islam in 1992, he completed a four-year education certification program at the University of Central Oklahoma. Additionally, while working as an Imam at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, he discreetly focused on studying enough Islam and Arabic from a Senegalese Sheik to become a network leader in Oklahoma City. He was sent to Egypt as part of the Muslim American Society's grant program to gain proficiency in Arabic and raise awareness of Islamic research.
