Sue Bredekamp, a youth training specialist from Washington, DC, serves as a consultant on topics including early education educational plan teaching and skillful turn of events. She served as the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Director of Accreditation and Professional Development in a temporary capacity from 1981 until 1998. (NAEYC).
She is the primary author of 1987, 1997, and 2008 revisions of NAEYC's top-notch publication Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood Programs, as well as its coeditor. Dr. Bredekamp participated on the National Research Council National Academy of Sciences Committee on Early Childhood Mathematics from 2007 to 2008.
