The fully possessed subsidiary of Yingli, Yingli Green Energy Europe, is managed by Stuart Brannigan. Mr. Brannigan served as the Director of Global Procurement at Phoenix Solar AG in Sulzemoos, Germany, prior to joining Yingli in 2007. Prior to Phoenix Solar, Mr. Brannigan worked for BP Solar from 1990 to 2005 as the Director of Global Procurement and later as the Vice President of Sales, where he was responsible for ensuring the supply of silicon feedstock, wafers, cells, and modules, as well as all other raw materials and capital equipment related to photovoltaics (PV). Mr. Brannigan was also elected to the board of the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) while he was a resident at BP Solar, where he was responsible for speaking at campaigns and advocating EPIA's opinions globally.
