Steve Austin is a professional wrestler and performer who was born in Edina, Texas, on December 18, 1964. The skilled wrestler known as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin won the WWF Championship from 1995 until 1999. Following his resignation, he entered the acting industry and appeared in the movies The Longest Yard (2005) and The Condemned as well as the TV series Nash Bridges (1998–1999). (2007). After developing a true passion for skilled wrestling, Williams enrolled in another wrestling school in Dallas in 1989. He joined the United States Wrestling Association after graduating, and in 1990 he competed in his first expert bout. Williams traveled to the southern United States for his first year on the trip, living in his car and earning $20 a day. After shedding his superhero character and adopting the moniker Stunning Steve Austin, he debuted in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991. Austin founded a group with Flyin Brian Pillman while working for WCW; as the Hollywood Blonds, they took home the 1993 World Tag Team Championship. Austin also captured the 1993 WCW American Championship. He was fired from WCW in 1994 after tearing his tricep while competing in Japan, a decision he would not easily forget. Austin signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in late 1995 after competing for a time in Extreme Championship Wrestling. Another patching up of his image resulted in the term Stone Cold, a bareheaded appearance, and the final, Stone Cold Stunner mark.
