He also sits on the Young Alumni Development Committee at Duke University and the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Chicago. He is a former LinkedIn employee who worked as a trader on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He also founded two film investment firms and produced films with actors like Bruce Willis and Robert De Niro. Galanis graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a degree in history.
