Steve Young was a professional football player in the past. His NFL career extended more than 15 years, largely with the San Francisco 49ers, where he garnered various honors such as Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXXIX; Sports Illustrated and Sporting News' Player of the Year from 1992 to 1994; and NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1994.
Steve Young became the first left-handed quarterback to be elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. In addition, he is the managing director of Huntsman Gay Global Capital. Young was a remarkably effective thrower during his NFL career, leading the league in passer rating six times and completion % and yards per attempt five times.
