Steve Robinson Biography

IBM's General Manager of Worldwide Security Solutions is Steve Robinson. In this capacity, he is accountable for overseeing all of IBM's security efforts across the security products and administration businesses, totaling more than $100 billion in business opportunity. Mr. Robinson, as the methodology chief, directs the development groups in programming equipment and administrations, as well as the advertising and security deals groups. Mr. Robinson had previously served as Rational's VP of Worldwide Sales since 2005. In this position, he was in charge of the Rational brand's business procedures and execution. He formerly served as Lotus' VP of Technical Services, where he was responsible for altering the Services Education and Certification efforts. He was also a member of Lotus' mix team, which was the largest programming integration in IBM's history. Mr. Robinson joined IBM in 1984 and has held numerous offices and senior roles in negotiations, specialist administrations, and the board of directors. He has a Bachelor of Science in business and software engineering from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. "
