Steve Huffman is a co-founder of the website reddit and an American web developer. He just co-founded Hipmunk, an airline search engine. Steve received his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Virginia in 2005. Following graduation, he collaborated with classmate Alexis Ohanian to launch reddit, which was first sponsored by Y Combinator.
Conde Nast then purchased Reddit in 2006. Hipmunk was founded in 2010 by Huffman and Adam Goldstein, receiving investment from Y Combinator as well. Steve was selected to Inc. magazine's 30 under 30 list in 2011. Steve also teaches "CS253: Web Application Engineering," an e-learning course launched by online education provider Udacity in April 2012.
