Steve Charters is a Professor of Champagne Management at the Reims Management School in France, where he studies and teaches about the cultural and social backdrop of wine and Champagne consumption, as well as the marketing procedures for sparkling wines. He is adept at qualitative research techniques like interviews, focus groups, and the use of wine as a prop in such scenarios. In 2004, he obtained his Ph.D. from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia for research on wine quality judgments.
