Stephen Wadsworth has coordinated at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro Alla Scala, Royal Opera Covent Garden, Vienna Staatsoper, Nederlandse Opera, and the Edinburgh Festival, as well as in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Santa Fe.
He made his Seattle Opera debut with Jenufa 29 years ago, and has since returned for the world premieres of Daron Hagen's Amelia (for which he also wrote the story), Iphignie en Tauride (a co-production with the Metropolitan Opera), Orphe et EurydiceXerxes, and Wagner's Lohengrin Der Fliegende H�lder and the Ring (2001, 2005, and 2009).
