From 2005 until 2009, Stephen Hadley was President George W. Bush's National Security Advisor. Mr. Hadley served as Deputy National Security Advisor from 2001 until 2005. He had specific responsibility in many areas, including a US-Russia political dialogue, Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, and building a strategic partnership with India, in addition to handling the whole spectrum of national security concerns.
