A twister ripped through Henryville, Indiana, in March of 2012. Stephanie Decker, a 37-year-old mother, was caught up in a life-changing moment. As her house crumbled around her, she shielded her two tiny children with her body. Stephanie's ideal home collapsed, beating her legs, but thanks to her valiant actions, her children were in great shape.
It was a miracle she made it to the medical facility at all. By then, physicians had determined that portions of the two legs would be removed. Stephanie has been featured on The Today Show since the incident. Ellen Degeneres' Show Person of the Week on ABC World News Tonight, USA Today, USA Weekend, and People Magazine.
