Stanley Hainsworth grew up in a little community near Possum Trot and Monkey's Eyebrow in Western Kentucky. After pursuing an acting profession for a few years, he decided to put all he'd learned to a new craft design.
He worked as a Creative Director at Nike for several years, working on everything from hangtags to annual reports to the Olympics, before moving to Denmark to join the Lego Company as Global Creative Director. He oversaw a complete visual redesign of the Lego brand, encompassing packaging, the online, retail, and brand shops.
