Spencer Anderson was born in Houston, Texas, and studied painting and metal sculpting before relocating to Tallahassee. He continued to sculpt at Florida State University, but developed a new passion in creating sets and constructing props for his friends' films.
After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts, he relocated to Los Angeles and began working as an assistant art director on modest cable films. He couldn't be happier being a part of the Design on a Dime design team: he has numerous opportunity to create fresh and intriguing objects that don't get destroyed when the show's finished!
