Sophie Michell's first culinary experiences were with her grandmother when she was four years old. She comes from a family of ardent foodies and skilled cooks. She showed remarkable aptitude early on, and by the age of 15, she was already overseeing services in a Somerset gastropub and had decided on a career in the culinary sector.
Sophie went on to study at London's prestigious Butler's Wharf Chef School while working at prestigious restaurants such as La Gavroche, Michelin-starred Greenhouse, the Lanesborough, and the Embassy. Sophie has been nominated for "Young Chef of the Year" by the prestigious Craft Guild of Chefs at the age of 19.
