Smallpools is a four-piece indie pop band from the United States that started in 2013. Sean Scanlon (vocals), Mike Kamerman (guitar), Joseph Intile (bass), and Beau Kuther make up the band (drums). After their debut track Dreaming scored at No. 1 on The Hype Machine Smallpools' self-titled debut EP was released via RCA on July 16 2013.
Mike Kamerman of Marlboro, New Jersey, and Sean Scanlon of Verplanck, New York, had played in numerous bands since 2007. They met Oregon natives Intile and Kuther after traveling to Los Angeles to advance their musical careers. Working with the producer trio Captain Cuts, the band published their debut track Dreaming online on May 16, 2013, rapidly achieving No.
