Bob Marley's maternal grandson Skip Marley is a member of the famed reggae family, which includes his mother Cedella and uncles Ziggy Stephen and Damian Marley, although his own music incorporates elements of modern pop rap and rock. Born in Jamaica and reared in Miami, Florida.
Skip is a self-taught musician who first played on public at the age of 15 when his uncle Stephen asked him to sing the chorus of One Love. Skip made his Tuff Gong label debut in 2016 with the ballad Cry to Me, which was released by Island. 2017 was his breakthrough year.
