Sir Anthony Robinson, better known as Tony Robinson, is an English actor, comedian, amateur historian, TV host, and political activist. He is most known for his role as Baldrick in the BBC television sitcom Blackadder, as well as presenting Channel 4 shows such as Time Team and The Worst Jobs in History.
Robinson is a member of the Labour Party and has served on its National Executive Committee. He's also the author of sixteen children's novels. Robinson returned in 1999 to star in Blackadder: Back & Forth, a one-off short film celebrating the new century.
