Sir Anthony Robinson, better known as Tony Robinson, is an English actor, comedian, amateur historian, TV host, and political activist. He is most known for his role as Baldrick in the BBC television sitcom Blackadder, as well as presenting Channel 4 shows such as Time Team and The Worst Jobs in History. Robinson is a member of the Labour Party and has served on its National Executive Committee. He's also the author of sixteen children's novels. Robinson returned in 1999 to star in Blackadder: Back & Forth, a one-off short film celebrating the new century. This short video played in the Millennium Dome throughout 2000 and was then shown on BBC One in 2002. Robinson also provided the narration for the TV series Airline, which debuted in 1999 as part of a new series concentrating on the daily lives of EasyJet employees at several airports. The show was created for ITV and is frequently broadcast on Sky Real Lives Sky 1 Sky 2 Sky 3 (now Pick TV) and ITV2. He was the narrator for six of the remaining nine series till the series terminated in 2006. Tony Robinson's Cunning Night Out, a mostly improvised stage presentation that incorporated a combination of the numerous themes from his career for which Robinson is famed, followed in early 2005. He also edited and produced The Real Da Vinci Code, a documentary for Channel 4's Weird World series that refuted Dan Brown's allegations in his novel The Da Vinci Code.
