Sir David K.P. Li is Chairman and Chief Executive of The Bank of East Asia Limited. For almost 40 years, Sir David has been a driving force in the development of Hong Kong's financial infrastructure. He represented the Finance Constituency in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1985 until 2012.
He serves on the boards of several important public corporations in Hong Kong and beyond. Sir David is an outspoken advocate for educational concerns. He is the Pro-Chancellor of The University of Hong Kong, as well as the Founder and Chairman of the Cambridge University Friends in Hong Kong and the Prince Philip Scholarship Scheme.
