She met some of the finest poker players in the world while working as a cocktail waitress at the Commerce Casino, and acquired a passion for the game. Steve Badger is her poker guru and one of the professional poker players with whom she got acquaintances at that period.
She quit her work as a cocktail server in 2003 and made the most of her money playing online poker for the following year and a half. She took a job as a prop player at the Bicycle Casino in 2004. Rosario played a broad range of games as a prop and credits the experience with refining out her skills.
