Shin-pei Tsay is the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace's director of Cities and Transportation in the Energy and Climate Program. Her research focuses on challenges of urban and regional planning, including transportation, economic development, energy, and climate change policy.
Tsay previously worked as the deputy director of Transportation Alternatives, a nationally recognized non-profit focused on transportation issues in New York City; as a founding member of ZGF architects' NYC office where she was on the sustainability team; as the chief operating officer of Project for Public Spaces, an international non-profit; and as a strategy consultant with a Fortune 500 firm.
