Sherry Turkle is an American sociologist, clinical psychologist, and the Abby Rockefeller Mauzé Professor of the Social Studies of Science and Technology at MIT. She holds a B.A. in social studies and a Ph.D. in sociology and personality psychology from Harvard University.
