Shelby Lynne is Allison Moorer's older sister and an American singer-songwriter. Her pop rock album I Am Shelby Lynne's popularity earned her the Grammy Award for Best New Artist (despite being her sixth studio album). In 2008, she released Just a Little Lovin', a Dusty Springfield tribute CD.
She has now founded her own independent record company, Everso Records, and released three albums: Tears, Lies, and Alibis, Merry Christmas, and Revelation Road. Lynne is also well-known for her unique contralto voice. Lynne released Not Dark Yet, a collaboration effort with her sister Allison Moorer, on August 18, 2017.
