Sheila O'Donnell is a renowned architect. She co-founded the architecture firm O'Donnell + Tuomey. O'Donnell received his architectural degree from University College Dublin in 1976. She earned a master's degree in environmental design from the Royal College of Art in 1980, where she was named best graduating student.
In 1988, she and her husband, John Tuomey, founded O'Donnell + Tuomey Architects in Dublin. The business has received several national accolades, including the RIAI Downes Medal on seven times since 1988 and the RIAI Gold Medal in 2000.
