Sheila Jasanoff is the Harvard Kennedy School's Pforzheimer Professor of Science and Technology Studies. She is a pioneer in her profession, having written or edited more than 120 articles and chapters, as well as more than 15 books, including The Fifth Branch, Science at the Bar, Designs on Nature, and The Ethics of Invention.

Her study investigates the role of science and technology in modern democracies' law, politics, and policy. She developed and oversees the Harvard STS Program; before, she was the founding chair of Cornell's STS Department.
