Shaye Lynne Haver, along with Kristen Griest, was one of the two first women to graduate from the US Army Ranger School on August 21, 2015. Haver and Griest were named 34th on Fortune's list of the World's Greatest Leaders in 2016. Haver is a native of Copperas Cove, Texas.
She graduated from high school in Texas in 2008, where she participated in cross country and soccer. In 2012, Haver graduated from the United States Military Academy. Haver followed in her father's footsteps and became an attack helicopter pilot. Her father was also a professional Army aviator who flew Apache helicopters.
