Pittston, Pennsylvania, where I was born and raised, is a tiny coal-mining town. Shawn's passion for music inspired him to begin impersonating his musical idol, Elvis Presley. He played in the well-known Poconos region before embarking on a tour of Canada, where he competed in and won the $5000.00 award in the Worldwide Elvis Competition in Montreal.
This piqued the interest of the award-winning Las Vegas show Legends in Concert, where he appeared as Elvis Presley for many years in their Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Branson, and Atlantic City show rooms. Every January, he performs in the Elvis Birthday Tribute Tour, a multi-city spectacular including Elvis' own band, singers, and friends.
