Shane Beschen is a professional surfer from California. Shane Beschen became the first and only professional surfer to achieve three flawless ten-point rides at Kirra in 1996, giving him a total of 30 out of 30 on the ASP three-wave scoring system.
Kelly Slater became the first surfer to achieve two flawless rides for a total of 20 out of 20 under the updated ASP two-wave scoring system in the final of the Billabong Pro Teahupoo in May 2005, a feat repeated by Joel Parkinson in the Billabong Pipeline Masters third-round heats in 2008.
