Currently, Sergio Aragonés is thought to be the world's fastest sketch artist. He is unquestionably the most well-known in the industry. He receives every major award, including the Will Eisner Hall of Fame Award and the Reuben Award from the National Cartoonists Society.
He was born in Castellon, Spain, in 1937, but his family soon moved to Mexico due to the Spanish Civil War. Sergio had his long-term education in Mexico, where he studied architecture at the University of Mexico and also studied mime under the direction of Alexandro Jodorowsky.
