In 2012, Serge Saxonov assisted in founding 10x Genomics and has served as its CEO ever since. He led the company through numerous phases of rapid development by defining the vision and methodology added to center developments. He was considered one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of the Year by Goldman Sachs in 2016.
Before joining 10x Genomics, Serge served as vice president of applications at QuantaLife. He was responsible for developing new apps' content and identifying significant diagnostics opportunities for the center's ddPCR innovation. In addition, Serge served as the founding architect and R&D director of 23andMe before founding QuantaLife.
