While attending Stanford with individual Stanford student Al Leib, Tobaccowola founded Evite in 1997. She served as Evite's vice president of construction up until Ticketmaster bought the company in 2001. Beginning in 2003, Tobaccowola served as the temporary vice president of online product and technology at Entertainment Publications, an IAC subsidiary.
At that moment, she was promoted to senior vice president of items at Ticketmaster's European business. Before becoming president and in charge of innovation, Tobaccowala joined SurveyMonkey in 2009 as the item and building vice president. Together with her fellow Evite donor Al Leib, Tobaccowala founded Gixo in 2016. She has held a position on Tugboat Yards' governing board.
