When de Souza was 17, he was cast as Matty Levan in the fifth and sixth episodes of the British program Skins, following a brief cameo in Nick Ross' story The Truth About Crime. He joined the cast of the historically accurate drama The Borgias in 2012.
While in Hungary, he collaborated with photographer Benjamin Lebus to make Evelyne's World, a thought-provoking short film on the cave's moral lesson that starred Évelyne Brochu. Plastic, directed by Julian Gilbey, is De Souza's debut role on a significant motion picture set.
