Growing up on the east side of Oahu, Yoro spent most of his time surfing until he was in his late teens when he discovered his passion for spray painting and inking.
Working under the alias "Hula," he relocated to New York to pursue his career. Hula took to the ocean to create semi-lowered paintings while adjusting his stand-up paddleboard, moved by his love of the sea. Hula generally shoots at abandoned docks and neglected walls to breathe life into empty surroundings.
