In the year 947, Sean Hardie was born in Northumberland. He began working for the BBC in 1968 as a Graduate Trainee. He spent significant time as a Producer/Director in TV Current Affairs on 24 Hours Panorama and Newsnight, where he covered projects in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
He transitioned to parody in 1997, working with John Lloyd to co-create and co-produce the show "Not The Nine O'clock News," which featured Rowan Atkinson. Griff Rhys Jones and Mel Smith to British television. He also assisted in the mid-eighties in launching the careers of people like Rik Mayall.
