Sean Bean, an actor, portrayed the criminals in the films GoldenEye and Patriot Games. Most recently, he played Odysseus in Troy and Boromir in the three-part Lord of the Rings series. However, his role as Eddard Stark in the first season of Game of Thrones made him the most well-known.
On April 17, 1959, Sean Bean was created in Sheffield, England. After graduating, he began appearing in London theatre productions on TV and in movies. He gained a reputation in America for playing troublemakers, such as an IRA scaremonger in Patriot Games opposite Harrison Ford and a double agent in GoldenEye.
