Joe Scott is an American college basketball coach who is now the head coach at the University of Denver. He was born on July 28, 1965, on Pelican Island, New Jersey. On March 20, 2007, he took over for Terry Carroll. During his three seasons at Princeton, Scott had a 38–45 record.
In his first season, the team placed sixth in the Ivy League with a 6–8 record, before recovering to finish second in the league with a 10–4 record in 2005–06. Scott Greenman, a senior point guard, was named First-Team All-Ivy for the first and only time in his career in 2006.
