Scott Takeda, an entertainer, was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. At the University of Colorado in Boulder, he received a four-year certification in scientific studies in news reporting. Takeda and his maker wife, Lori Allred, now reside in Denver, Colorado.
In Pocatello, Idaho, Takeda began his career as a TV journalist before switching to delivery for stations in Toledo, Ohio, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Denver, Colorado. From 1992 to 1994, he became a photojournalist/maker for the Denver-based CBS TV station KCNC. He was producer and program director for the coordinated children's program News-for-Kids from 1995 to 1997.
