Anthony Scott Flippen, also known by his stage name Scott Stapp, is an American singer-songwriter and performer best known for penning the lyrics and providing the main vocals for the musical group Creed and Art of Anarchy. The Great Divide and Evidence of Life are two further standalone collections he has.
Stapp has received several accolades, including a Grammy Award and many RIAA affirmations for Creed's song With Arms Wide Open. Stapp was ranked as the 68th most significant heavy metal vocalist ever by Hit Parader in 2006.
