Scott Donaton Biography

In May 2013, Ensemble's founding CEO, Scott Donaton, expanded his responsibilities by becoming UM's global chief substance officer. In his new role, Scott oversees the whole spectrum of execution skills for material and experience within UM. In addition, he leads the team of Experience Architects at UM who collaborate with local markets to place content delivery and turn-of-events at the center of all client experience projects. Scott is a trusted advocate, storyteller, visionary, and brand pioneer. He coined "Madison and Vine," which foresaw an expanding relationship between Hollywood and businesses. Before joining UM, he turned Ensemble from a concept on the back of a notepad to a recognized global brand. His work with L'Oreal Johnson, Johnson BMW, and other brands has produced brand stories that meet the highest standards of creativity and sufficiency. Scott founded Ensemble before joining UM and served as its CEO and President from 2009 to 2013. Before that, he served as the Entertainment Weekly distributor and the long-term supervisor and distributor of Advertising Age, where he worked as a proofreader for more than ten years.
