Scott Cherry is an American college basketball coach who is now the head men's basketball coach at High Point University. He was born on February 18, 1971. In 2009, he took over for Bart Lundy. Cherry was born in the town of Ballston Spa in the state of New York.
On March 26, 2009, Cherry was hired as the head coach of the High Point men's basketball team. HPU finished 15-15 in his first season in High Point, a 6-game improvement over the previous season.
