After enrolling at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, Scott began assisting with fashion photography assignments. He quickly became one of the industry's most sought-after cosmetics experts.
Shu Uemura, a master of universal excellence, picked Scott to revamp his Atelier Made label, a massive success in the design industry and among significant personalities. Scott launched his 21-piece color-correcting line, Scott Barnes Cosmetics, on QVC in April 2004 after finding success at Shu Uemura.
