Since 1986, Scott Alarik has been The Boston Globe's top social music writer. He has also consistently supported Sing Out! the Folk Music Journal, and has long served as a guest analyst for the public radio show Here and Now. He served as the New England Folk Almanac's editorial manager and chief author from 1991 to 1997.
With the release of a new CD, All That Is True, and the launch of the eagerly awaited website, scottalarik.com, Scott Alarik intends to even more closely connect his lengthy careers as a music journalist and societal artist. Alarik worked as a musician and people artist for almost 15 years before relocating to Boston in the middle of the 1980s.
