Sasha Waltz considered relocating to Amsterdam and New York. She contributed to establishing Sasha Waltz and Guests in Berlin in 1993. Waltz was one of the artistic leaders at Berlin's Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz from 2000 to 2005, where she produced works including the "Körper"-set of three (2000-2002). Sasha Waltz and the Guests eventually became their group in 2005.
Sasha Waltz's subsequent works, including "Dido and Aeneas" (2005), "Medea" (2007), "Romeo et Juliette" (2007), and "Passion" (2010), introduced a whole new genre: the choreographic drama. She also carried on other "Discourse"-related projects, such as "Exchange 09 - Neues Museum" at the Neue Museum in Berlin and "Exchange 09 - MAXXI" at the brand-new MAXXI Museum in Rome.
