The founder and executive director of RefugePoint, Sasha Chanoff, has worked for 20 years on resettlement and pariah relief projects in Africa and the US. Sasha identified displaced people in danger, carried out rescue missions, and worked with the International Organization for Migration throughout Africa before launching RefugePoint.
She also spoke with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kenya and worked on evacuee assurance issues with the US, Canadian, Australian, and other governments. Sasha has extensive experience working with many populations of displaced people, including Sudanese Lost Boys.
