Sarah Will's skiing accident in December 1988 left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was working as a temporary woodworker in Aspen, Colorado, to pursue one of her lifelong passions: skiing in the Colorado Rockies. When Sarah's skis became caught, they sent her flying over a catwalk as she was creating the first tracks in freshly fallen snow.
That was a day that would forever alter how she lived. Since she began skiing at four in 1972, skiing has played a significant role in Sarah's life. When she was just nine years old, she became a Pico Mountain Ski Team member.
