Trahern began a new chapter in her successful career in the music industry and television when she was appointed CEO of the CMA in January 2014. She has more than 27 years of experience in the television industry, including 18 years of creating or managing Country Music programs.
She works with the CMA Board of Directors to advance the organization's purpose and strategic goals while keeping in mind the organization's unique history and culture. Trahern is also the president of the CMA Foundation Board, which provides funding for music education initiatives for deserving kids nationwide.
