Sarah Shook and the Disarmers is a bandit country grouping with roots in North Carolina. In 2015, they discharged their introduction collection Sidelong. Sidelong was listed as one of the 50 Essential Albums of 2015 by Sparing Country Music. Years, Shook's sophomore album was released in 2018. Sarah Shook was in a severely rigid environment, even though she now identifies as an atheist. She was only allowed to listen to love and classical music as a child.
