Sarah Murdoch is an Australian model, actress, and television host who was born in England. Murdoch was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she studied ballet at The McDonald College of the Performing Arts.
She changed her mind after being told by the ballet instructor, Alan Alexander Cross, that she was too tall and would never make it as a dancer. She worked as a model for Bonds, L'Oréal, Revlon, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent, and Estée Lauder, as well as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions in 1999 and 2003.
